Keira her life

Keira has many stories to tell, some you would not believe, her life is like a movie. Keira has come back from a triple heart bypass and still hear to tell the story. Believe it or not Keira has run some crazy Ultra Marathons and Multisport races, Yes Really.

If I said she competed and finished the Coast to Coast in 2009 which is a 243 K run cycle and kayak in one day!

• 2011 Run 250K in the Sahara Desert self supported ie carrying food for 7 days in 50 degree heat.

• 2015 Attempted the La Ultra in the Himalayas 222k 2 X 5,300 m peaks, that’s is a dangerous race, finished at 56K altitude sickness

• 2016 Never give up took on the Tor Des Gents in Italy, not an essay one 320 K and 24,000m climbing, yeh right pulled out at 323 k with still a marathon to go

  After heart bypass

• Ran a marathon 10 weeks and 5 days after Open Heart surgery

• Ran my fastest marathon 2018

• Ran 100 k in less than 12 months after surgery, followed by a 100 miles (162k) 18 months after surgery

Nope nothing to do with a wild party at University but the Crew i was assigned to when i was a Navigator in Oil and Gas exp0loration in 1998. Except we went from the North Sea to Nigeria, where on the last hour of my shift after being there for 6 weeks, bags packed, the ship was taken over by pirates. Yep on my F### ing birthday.
